Who We Are

Prologue provides community-based supports for individuals recovering from mental illness through the following services:

Two Psychiatric Rehabilitation Programs licensed in Baltimore and Carroll Counties, with accompanying Residential Programs

The Homeless Outreach Program designed to serve and assist homeless individuals who possess a diagnosis of mental illness and their families living in Baltimore County

A Supportive Housing Program offering affordable leases in desirable communities to persons with disabilities wishing to live on their own

A Weekend Drop In Center managed by consumers that serves as a social and resource center for people recovering from mental illness

Mission

Prologue is dedicated to providing an environment of respect, dignity and hope to people with mental illness and those experiencing homelessness. Prologue provides programs and services that promote personal recovery and supportive relationships so that individuals become more satisfied, confident and productive members of society.
