What We Do

Community mental health programs such as Prologue offer the best option for recovery from mental illness through services provided in the least restrictive setting. We aim to restore an individual’s ability for independent living, socialization and managing one’s symptoms in a cost-effective way. We offer skills training and basic education courses geared to people with psychiatric disabilities to prepare them for employment and self-sufficiency. Case managers link individuals to housing, benefits and other vital community resources. At Prologue, individuals learn to adapt their lifestyle to diminish the chances of future relapse and to find satisfaction in life and work.
